HIGHLIGHTS OF THE COMMERCE DEPARTMENT

The Department offers Commerce  for the Intermediate and the Degree courses.

The syllabus for the Intermediate level offered in combination with Mathematics and Economics is prescribed by the A.P.Board of Intermediate education.

The Undergraduate program is B.Com (Vocational) with Computers.

Commerce, the Queen of the so called progressive Social Sciences in today's College Courses has been offered since half a decade in the College. The Papers offered by the B.Com (Vocational) Department are Quantitative Techniques, Managerial Economics, Industrial Organization, Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Auditing, Computer Science papers like Basics of Informational Technology, COBOL, C + +, TALLY, DBMS, Accounting Software, Computer Applications in Banking and Placement Project.

The Department uses innovative methods like Projects, Role Play, and Discussions and so on. Prominent professionals from the city and city colleges are invited to interact with the students for professional enrichment.

The Department has been successful in campus recruitment and Our Alumnae are pursuing M.Com , M.B.A., M.H.R.M . besides those who are working.
