Department of Economics

The Department offers Economics for the Intermediate and Degree courses.

The syllabus for the Intermediate level is prescribed by the A.P.Board of Intermediate education.

Undergraduate Course :

1. ‘Statistics’ & ‘International Economics’ are the unique components of the syllabus not included in the common core syllabus of Andhra Univeristy.
2. The department of Economics is involved in the teaching of the course ‘Women & Development’ which is a foundation course for all students of the college during the I/II Semester.
   
   The department offers a one Semester General Elective in Consumer Education during the III / IV Semesters. A model Consumer Forum is organised by the department to mark the Consumer Day on March 15th every year.
