The Examinations for the Intermediate and Post graduate courses are conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education and Andhra University respectively.

The Undergraduate examinations are conducted by the College and consist of Continuous assessment and Final Assessment at the end of the semester.

CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT / FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT: The Continuous assessment in the form of Mid Semester Exams and accessory methods of evaluation provides for flexibility and offers a continuous opportunity to the student for formative learning and assessment.  It also helps the students to develop regular study habit and avoid usual last minute selective cramming for the examination.

Accessory Assessment: The accessory methods provide a greater degree of flexibility, which enables the evaluation of a variety of skills and not just the memory oriented skills tested by conventional examination system. E.g. quizzes, paper presentation, debating and others.

FINAL / SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT: The End Semester / Summative Examination is completely external.  The end semester examination pattern is structured and streamlined with single evaluation done by external experts. The college conducts spot valuation, except for a few subjects where door evaluation is practiced. The results are announced in 3-4 weeks after exams.

The mark lists are issued to students at the end of each semester.

In case a student is unable to attend the examination, leave application  (accompanied by medical certificate when necessary) should be submitted to the Principal of the college before the end of the examination or the month whichever may be earlier. Absence without permission will not be condoned.

The final Degree will be issued by the College after receiving it from the University.
