Department of Zoology

The Department offers Zoology for the Intermediate and the Degree courses.

The syllabus for the Intermediate level is prescribed by the A.P.Board of Intermediate education.

Undergraduate Course :

1. Courses in Entomology and Fisheries are the unique features not included in syllabus of Andhra University.
2. The Department co-ordinates the management of the foundation courses-
       - Science & Society in collaboration with Chemistry department.
       - Environmental Studies, which is compulsory for all students of the college.
3. The Department offers a General Elective in ‘Fundamentals of Human Genetics’ to the B.A./B.Sc. students during the III/IV Semesters.
4. The department organizes field visits to institutions like Andhra University, Museum, Research institutes like TASPARC, CMFRI, CIFT and others
